Making yummy SANDWICHES!
Today
we made delicious sandwiches with lots of healthy vegetables, ham and
tuna. Our healthy vegetables were lettuce, carrot and cucumber. The last
ingredient was cheese. I put all the ingredients in my sandwich.
My
first vegetable was lettuce, then Mrs. Barry put some tuna on my
other piece of bread. The second vegetable I put in my sandwich was the
cheese, thirdly was the carrot and then cucumber. Lastly Mrs. Ramkolowan had
handed out ham to my table. I put the ham in my sandwich and finally
put the other piece of bread on my sandwich.
It looked really nice, and BIG.

After I put my sandwich together I had took a bite, it was delicious but really BIG.
When I took a bite I could see all the 5 + a day colours, it looked
amazing. I hope that we do sandwich making every day and get healthier.
Remember when you eat; eat healthy and try all the 5 + a day colours as they are really delicious.
Distracted Athletes
My Speech
Having two or more events running at the same time, (for example the Javelin and the hurdles) is distracting for the athletes and therefore they can not focus and do their best.
The Olympics should have only one event at a time like all the swimming events and no diving. I strongly suggest that when people compete in the Olympics they should only have a game at a time because if they have a long jump event they should have all jumping events to allow athletes who compete, the opportunity to win.
If the organisers don’t organise the same events, athletes will be distracted by the other events and will possibly lose and when athletes compete they should get a better chance to WIN medals for the country they're representing.
Firstly, when athletes compete in the Olympics they want to win but when they challenge their opponents they might lose because they are not focused on their own event. I know athletes want to win, so the organisers should put all the same events together to allow athletes to try and get GOLD medals for their country.
Secondly, when athletes compete in their event they lose track and focus on the other events and also when athletes cheer they might get distracted by the loud noise or they might LOVE it when athletes give the competitors a loud cheer “go go go”.
Lastly, athletes want to win when they have a competition, they all want to win and beat their competitors, so when they compete in the Olympics they can have a better chance at winning, also NEW ZEALAND has a better chance at WINNING and getting lots and lots of GOLD medals.
In Conclusion, I strongly say to let the Olympic games have one game at a time. So when athletes compete they should just focus on the one event because they lose track and focus on the other games. Also athletes who compete get a better chance at winning, especially NEW ZEALAND.
